What is Missions Place?

At Missions Place, we’re all about missional partnerships in local communities for the global church, and we have a unique recipe for making it happen: one part public space + one part collaborative workspace + one part event space.

Missions Place is first and foremost open to YOU, the general public, as a means to connect and engage with what God is doing around the world. You’ll find art that tells stories of God’s global work, friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you take your next step on your missions journey, and regular gatherings and happenings meant to educate, resource and mobilize individuals for action.

The collaborative workspace at Missions Place exists to provide a relaxed and communal work environment that brings together a kingdom-minded community in our city for the sake of the gospel around the world. This aspect of Missions Place caters to those working in the church, ministry or nonprofit sectors and looking for a third space to work in.  Our location offers weekday hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features comfortable work areas, meeting space, office supplies, WiFi, printing and, of course, coffee.

Missions Place is a welcoming, modern space available for your events. Whether you’re a group, church or organization, we would love to host your ministry-related meetings or events in our spaces. Click here for more information on hosting your event at a Missions Place.

Partnership is at the heart of everything we do. At Missions Place, we exist to create space for partnerships to form around God’s global mission. Created in 2013 under the vision of TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission), which longed to create a space where God’s people could encounter His mission without agency labels front-and-center, Missions Place locations across the country have since been joined by local anchor partners, including South America Mission in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Today, Missions Place bears the marks of these and other partnering organizations, and we look forward to welcoming many more anchor partners into the Missions Place community in the years to come. If you’re wondering what a partnership between Missions Place and your organization could look like, we’d love to have a conversation with you.
